Congratulation to Alan Huynh of UMecoMotion who won the 2016 Manitoba Aerospace Student Award! The annual financial award goes to a student who demonstrates that he/she: can work well as part of a team; is reliable, demonstrates a good work ethic, demonstrates integrity, is innovative and displays leadership.
Alan is a third year Electrical Engineering student at the University of Manitoba and one of the communications co-leads for the University of Manitoba Shell Eco Marathon Team (UMecoMotion). His role is to promote & create brand awareness for the ecoMotion Team to the public. Their student team is in the process of designing and building a prototype battery electric vehicle to compete in the Shell Eco-Marathon Competition, which will be held in downtown Detroit in April 2017.
