Presentation title: Connected Safety Innovation Technology in Aerospace

Presentation abstract: Come to the Manitoba Aerospace Networking Breakfast on January 17 to learn about the latest innovations in connected safety technologies for aerospace manufacturing. At Winnipeg’s Victoria Inn, Christina Pitt, Business Development Director from Blackline Safety, will be speaking about how connected technologies in safety are changing the way that businesses keep their teams safe while also minimizing health risks due to exposure to volatile organic compounds. The breakfast starts at 7:30 am and Christina’s presentation will expand on connected safety topics including gas detection, wearables, photoionization detection, and other connected innovations. Hear first-hand what capabilities safety vendors are delivering today and where innovations are expected to go in the future.

Speaker bio: Christina Pitt is the Western Canadian Business Development Director at Blackline Safety (TSX: BLN). Christina’s focus on the Aerospace industry was inspired by her Geomatics Engineering degree from the University of Calgary that included exposure to aerial mapping, remote sensing, and GPS technologies. Christina joined Blackline Safety three years ago, progressing from sales engineering to leading business development efforts in Western Canada. She currently helps businesses develop enterprise-wide best practice connected safety solutions in aerospace, manufacturing and energy sectors.
