Philanthropist, StandardAero to receive lieutenant-governor honours
The Lieutenant Governor’s Awards are given annually to people and organizations that contribute to the vibrancy of the province and who inspire the rest of the community by their example.
This year’s recipients are Abdo (Albert) El Tassi and StandardAero. They will be presented with the award by Manitoba’s lieutenant-governor, the honourable Janice Filmon, as part of the 35th Manitoba Business Awards on Oct. 26 at the Fairmont Winnipeg, hosted by Global National anchor Dawna Friesen.
