Since 2007, AAiM Day has annually energized over 700 sixth graders with a dynamic exploration of aerospace and aviation, based on the 6th Grade science curriculum. AAiM Day is an immersive event which show cases our province’s vibrant aerospace and aviation sectors, offering a glimpse into possible future career paths for the students. In two lively sessions, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon, the students dive into six interactive aerospace/aviation stations, rotating every 15 minutes in groups of 30-35. It’s a whirlwind of hands-on learning and inspiration!

The funds raised at the tournament go to three Student Endowment Funds, (1) U of MB for an Engineering Student as well as ENGAP (Engineer Access Program for Indigenous & Red River Metis people); (2) RRC Polytech for Engineering Mechanical Technologist, Engineering Electrical Technologists and Aircraft Maintenance Engineer; and finally with the Winnipeg Foundation that provides scholarships to student at Tec Voc High School and Neeginan Education, Training and Employment Services. Each year, these scholarships are handed out to deserving students.

This workshop is to educate companies on the Federal Government Procurement Process as well as to hear from OEM’s who have ITB Obligation. We limit the presentation to the morning session and then have B2B meetings in the afternoon.
Since 2002, Manitoba Aerospace has held the annual All-Stars Awards Dinner, celebrating the aerospace industry in Manitoba and recognizing excellence in the aerospace community. The All-Stars Awards of Excellence recognize partners or individuals involved in or with the aerospace and defence industry who have demonstrated excellence in a variety of areas from leadership to business growth. Award recipients are nominated by their industry peers. The proceeds go to support the Student Endowment Funds.
