Additive manufacturing in Manitoba: Introduction to Canada Makes
March 21, 2016 | 9:00 am – 11:00 am | ITC | 200-78 Innovation Drive, Winnipeg R3T 6C2
Canada Makes is Canada’s only national network of expertise in the development and the adoption of additive manufacturing technologies. Many observers qualify additive manufacturing as the most disruptive technology since the emergence of electronics in the 1970’s, one that will change the business models of making things, allowing freedom and complexity of design never seen before.
This session is in support of an effort to develop a Canadian national strategy to accelerate the adoption of AM across manufacturing. This session is an invitation to learn more about this technology and to position the province of Manitoba as a national and international hub for additive manufacturing application and research.
