Strategic investments pay off in the long run

Investing today with the hope of benefitting in the future is a fundamental tenet of economic and commercial growth.
Picking your spots and correctly understanding the trends is the trick to making that work properly.
Obviously, it doesn’t always go according to plan and sometimes the benefits don’t arrive until you (or your company or your government) is dead and buried.
This week there were examples in Winnipeg of how that ought to work from a few different stages of that continuum.
At a presentation Thursday morning that was part of the Winnipeg Design Festival, Angela Mathieson, CEO of CentreVenture, mentioned CentreVenture is not nearly as active providing (high-interest) loans to developers as it once was.
