The Shock Trauma Air Rescue Service (STARS) base tour organized by Northern Spirit – Winnipeg WAI

Thanks to Northern Spirit – Winnipeg WAI , the Winnipeg Chapter of Women in Aviation International, for organizing a most informative visit to the Winnipeg STARS base on Oct 17.

*The Shock Trauma Air Rescue Service (STARS) is a non-profit organization that provides specialized emergency medical care and transportation for critically ill and injured patients. Their physicians, nurses, paramedics and pilots work with a team of dedicated support staff and community partners to save lives. STARS has bases in Calgary, Edmonton, Grande Prairie, Regina, Saskatoon and Winnipeg.
