GAS TURBINE REPAIR AND OVERHAUL PROGRAM

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Gas Turbine Repair and Overhaul Program is accredited through the Canadian Council for Aviation and Aerospace (CCAA) and Apprenticeship Manitoba, and partners with Manitoba Aerospace. Training components include aviation maintenance, orientation, blueprint reading, gas turbine engine theory, dismantling and tearing down engines, arranging non-destructive inspections, inspection and sorting of parts, assembling engines, engine testing, shipping and storing engines, as well as an on-the-job training component. This program covers all course material required for Level 1 & 2 Apprenticeship. Students are also required to participate in Neeginan College’s Program Essential Course, which focuses on essential skill training, personal development and employment readiness.
